Each March, during the Labor Day long weekend, Port Fairy welcomes 500 performers and over twenty thousand festival goers to the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Commencing in 1977, the 'folky' has become an internationally famous venue attracting top international and national acts to one of the best organised events in the country. It gets better every year.

Port Fairy Spring Music Festival

For her first PF Spring Music Festival, Artistic Director Anna Goldsworthy celebrates the conversation of cahmber music. She invites you into a Parisian salon to commermorate the 200th anniversary of Chopin and presents the anniversaries of Schumann and Mahler in unique Festival collaborations. The Festival also features dance, cinema, a 15 piece brass ensemble and the opportunity to 'sing your own musical', in a diverse and unique program.
