Stunning River Location
Linda - 25th December 2025Agree with previous reviews. This was a beautiful, peaceful & central location right on the Moyne River. This contemporary duplex / townhouse had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Importantly, I was taking my elderly parents who were able to access the ‘street front’ of the house very easily. No steps / easy access. With 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom downstairs, and separate bedrooms (2) and 1 bathroom upstairs, the house provides great facilities / separation. Garage access too.

We do usually supply dishwashing tablets so i am sorry if this was overseen by the housekeepers. Thank you also for your suggestion of hairdryers, we will certainly look into this.

David - 8th May 2025Repeat bookings at The Moorings for Warrnambool May Race Carnival - believe the 4th year we have stayed here. Very convenient location to town Restaurants and shops. Busses to Warrnambool race track only 50 meters from doorstop. Addition of Foxtel this year was a pleasant surprise - looking to book again for next years races

Superb Location

Fantastic to hear that you enjoyed the location of The Moorings Nathan and that your favorite feature is being able to moor a boat on the river. We are pleased that the location was superb for your stay. Thank you for your suggestion of a BBQ however this is something we no longer provide.
Absolutely spectacular
Dale - 7th September 2023Every bit as good as the pics. We were totally mind blown. Picture perfect location. Short walk to everything. Fishing right out the back door for all ages. Spectacular views for the adults with cheese, bikkies and wine. Short walk to Main Street, pubs, restaurants, cafes. I could go on and on. Just THE BEST. If this place looks good to you… then just go. We had the most amazing time way there. It was just THE BEST place. Minor improvements could be: The rubbish bin information in the compendium is out of date. There’s 4 bins now not 3. So we guessed a bit on what bins went out. Actually…. that’s my entire whinge list. I have absolutely no idea why some people left bad reviews. I can’t possibly imagine what they were expecting. I’m 51 years old, and to date this has been one of my (our) best times away. Thank you
Great Location
Ann - 29th January 2021Very,very worn. This property has done a lot of rental. A broken lamp upstairs, upstairs shower mouldy, knob off kitchen cupboard, occasional table very well used and old.
