ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE – What time can I check in? What time am I expected to check out?
To ensure adequate time for us to prepare the property for the next guest we have check in & out times.
Check in time is 3.00pm
Check out time is 10.00am
Should you require a guaranteed early check in or late checkout, we recommend the purchase of an additional night.
We will do our best to accommodate early check in’s / late check-out requests, however this decision is completely up to Hearn’s Port Fairy Accommodation’s Cleaning Manager as it is dependent on cleaning schedules across out portfolio.
KEY COLLECTION – How do I collect the keys?
Upon your booking confirmation, approximately 3 days prior to your arrival, you will be sent a ‘Pre Arrival’ email outlining how you will be expected to Check In. Keys are to be collected on your arrival date from the advised location during and outside of business hours.
LINEN – Do we have to bring our own linen?
Every property has all bathroom and bedding linen provided. Guests looking to go swimming at the swimming pool or one of our many beaches are required to bring their own beach towels for their stay – we do not provide beach towels. We ask that guests refrain from using the provided bathroom sheets / towels at the beach or swimming pool.
SMOKING – Am I allowed to smoke at the property?
Smoking of cigarettes or other tobacco products is strictly prohibited in all properties without exception. Any traces of such substance use whilst occupying the property may incur a charge of up to $300.00 AUD.
Illicit drugs are strictly prohibited in all properties with no exceptions as per Australian Law. Any traces of such illicit drug use will be immediately and without hesitation reported to Victoria Police.
WHAT IS PROVIDED – Do I need to bring anything?
Every property is provided with basic household / pantry items such as; toilet paper, soap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder or tablets, tea, coffee, sugar, garbage bags etc.
Once the property in which you are occupying is depleated of such complimentary items, it is up to the occupant to supply the necessary items for the further duration of their stay, although please note this does not mean for the next occupancy.
AFTER HOURS ASSISTANCE – What do I do in the case of an accommodation emergency?
If you are a current guest and require Urgent After Hours assistance, please call 0418 529 816. Should you require assistance outside these hours please leave a message outlining the following details…
Your booking name, phone / contact number, property name address if you are aware, description of the issue you wish to be addressed.
BABY EQUIPMENT – Can you supply a porta cot or high chair?
Unfortunately we cannot provide high chairs. We can provide porta cot’s, however we have a limited number of these available for guest use. Please advise our office at the time of booking should you require a porta cot during your stay, this will incur and extra rental fee. We do not provide porta cot bedding / linen so please ensure that you do bring your own for the duration of your stay.
CLEANING – How am I expected to leave the property when I depart?
The property is to be left in a clean and tidy state. This is inclusive but not exclusive to the following; dishes washed and put away / or loaded in the dishwasher on a cycle; food is to be removed from refrigerator(s) and cupboards.
Bathroom linen is to be left in wet areas i.e laundry / bathroom. After use, please clean the BBQ with the provided BBQ wipes that will be located in close proximity to the provided BBQ. Should this not be left clean, a $30.00 BBQ cleaning fee will be charged. Every effort is made to ensure gas bottles (including house gas bottles) contain enough gas for your stay; however we are not able to predict if they will run out. In this case please call (03) 5568 3150 to arrange replacement as soon as possible.
Additional Cleaning Expenses (property left outside an acceptable state) –
Any nauseous cleaning will incur an additional charge at the discretion of Hearn’s Port Fairy Accommodation management. A cleaning charge of $75.00 per hour will be incurred if this condition is not adhered to. This $75.00 per hour (per cleaner) cleaning charge is also applicable in the case that the property has taken outside the normal allocated cleaning time.
INTERNET ACCESS – Does the property have internet / WIFI?
Individual properties may have wireless internet connection available for guest perusal on premises as provided by the individual properties owner, although please be mindful that due to our rural and regional location wireless internet connection is limited, and sometimes poor in Port Fairy.
In the instance the property in which you occupy does have wireless internet connection, you will be instructed of access codes. Please note that there are usage limitations applicable to each seperate property and the purchase of extra data allowance is not available.
PETS – Can I bring my dog with me?
Either of the following may apply dependent on the arrangement made directly through an accommodation consultant, or as listed on our website…
– Pets are permitted at the property should there be prior arrangement made with the accommodation consultant or should you book a property that is listed as pet friendly. Should you bring your pet the following conditions must be adhered to: pets are not allowed on furniture, pets are not allowed in bedrooms, pet droppings must be picked up before you depart the premises, every effort to remove pet hair should be made or cleaning fees may be applied. Hearn’s Port Fairy Accommodation will not, and does not accept any responsibility / liability for the welfare and care of your pets during occupying our holiday accommodation.
