Clean, Quiet, and Pet Friendly

A great place to stay. The interior is a very pleasant, modern surprise with great beds, all with elecric blankets [full marks for those alone!]. Well equipped with everything you may need and also pet-friendly. Heater in the lounge worked extremely well, and TV and DVD collection was a good change for an evening [who gets time at home?] We've stayed in Port Fairy on a number of occasions over the years, and this quiet and accessible accommodation is at the top of our list.

We enjoyed our stay at the Guildford Cottage.

It was a beautiful home for our family, and we appreciated how pet-friendly it was. The cottage had all the facilities we required, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Access to the backyard was a bit tricky to store our bikes. The cottage only has a small gas fireplace in the living room. While it was sufficient during our stay, we feel that in the middle of winter it might be a bit of a struggle to keep the whole place warm. Overall, we would happily recommend the Cottage.

Sisters Getaway

What a wonderful place to get away for a few days and catch up. Lovely cottage, everything you need is there. Lovely little deck to sit and enjoy a drink and the sunshine. Clean and very comfortable. Recommend to anyone wanting to have a few days to enjoy a lovely little town where you can walk around and enjoy. Great restaurants, quiet street, couldn’t fault anything.

A great house with very few improvements needed

A great house. Well equipped with everything you may need and also pet-friendly. We loved our stay here and very little needs updating. Ceiling fan in one of main bedrooms - but no other cooling. Heater in lounge worked great and electric blankets on all the beds. Thought we might need but the extra blanket was enough for the one cooler night. Only thing that would be appreciated is a working hose in backyard and an easier latch on back gate. A+

Spacious, Bright and Comfortable

We were not supposed to stay at Guildford Cottage but ended up there when our other accommodation booking was cancelled. We were not disappointed though. This modern and spacious house, located only 5 mins from the main town centre of Port Fairy, more than suited out needs. It was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed in terms of mod cons. We really liked the gas fire and our 12 year old loved all of the board games and DVDs that were there. Really recommend for families.
