Not up to scratch

This is our second stay at the schoolhouse which was disappointing. It was a hot weekend & there wasn’t even a fan in the property, leave alone AC! The bathroom is inadequate & things are tired & dirty. The windows & sills were filthy & the garden looked unloved compared to other lovely gardens in the town. Linen, beds & kitchen were all good but the filter tap in the kitchen is inoperable so you have to buy water. Also one roll of toilet paper for 6 people over 5 days is cheap! Overpriced!

Hi Claire, Thank you for your attendance in our office regarding your stay and your follow up review online. I would like to reassure you that since our discussion the cleaning of the exterior and windows of the property has been completed. If we had know sooner that you were missing toilet rolls we certainly would have dropped these to you! We have also passed on suggestions regarding fans, to see if this is something to invest in. As discussed Port Fairy is not used to these unusually high temperatures and we are sorry that the heat was unbearable!
