A Hidden Gem

Whalers Cottage is a Port Fairy hidden gem. Close to the centre of town, and with a serene lake view. It was cold and wet outside, but the cottage was warm and cozy, and had all the amenities that were needed! Will definitely stay again!

A gorgeous, quiet and secluded location in a cosy, comfortable cottage with its own lake view. Only minutes from town my daughter and I look forward to our annual retreat at Whalers.

Perfect secluded cottage in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Whalers Cottage and it was the perfect location close to the main streets in town and the pier. A relaxing spot with lake views and a spacious house with a great kitchen. Highly recommended

Whalers Cottage

Spent a delightful week in this well appointed cottage, it was cold outside but very cosy inside. Large windows look out onto a pond surrounded by trees and lawns, filled with ducks and birdlife. View from the back veranda was even better! Beds very comfortable, all with electric blankets. Were pleasantly surprised with the 'bathroom' as this comprised a normal bathroom with bath etc., separate toilet with hand basin and separate small shower room - very convenient. Kitchen facilities very good.

Spectacular location. LOVED the laundry facilities! Needed to use all our fruit and veges before crossing back to SA, and was happy to find a lemon juicer to juice the 3 lemons we had picked up along the way!

Loved the location. Cottage was lovely, warm and clean. Bed was massive. Beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Beautiful hot water, great pressure in the shower
